What’s your sector focus at Avocet and why do you like it?

I recruit into the White-Collar housing development sector in the Southwest. I assist a range of clients from national, corporate developers to local, family-owned builders. I really enjoy the diversity of the sector, helping clients find their ideal candidate to match their unique requirements, helping them overcome their challenges and deliver a successful project.

What excites you about the future for the housing sector?

The house building industry has boomed in recent years and shows no signs of letting up with the government aiming to have 300,000 homes built every year by the mid 2020’s. With developers moving towards more eco-friendly developments, the next few years are looking very bright for the sector.

In your opinion, what makes Avocet different?

I have worked in recruitment for over 7 years, mostly with global, corporate agencies. Avocet stands out as being able to offer a tailored recruitment solution on both a localised and regional scale.
